Did you change path?
Please explain what you mean :)
I just copied through the article and expected it to work! ;D

Well copying that will not work.

You can try the article below https://panel.bullten.net/knowledgebase/59/Install-and-Configure-Awstats-in-CWP.html
There are many more settings needed to secure it and run in shared hosting enviroment. As long as you are just a single user, you can use it.

Hi.
If you have used command:
yum install httpd
will be works nothing.
Do not forget the Apache already installed to /usr/local/apache/ from source code.

Hello I know it's a bit old topic, but I tried this to install awstats 7.5. However, after completing the steps and tested but it did not work. After running:
perl /usr/local/apache/htdocs/awstats-7.5/wwwroot/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -update -config=*******.com
I get this (copying and pasting just the top part):
#!/usr/bin/perl

# Free realtime web server logfile analyzer to show advanced web statistics.
# Works from command line or as a CGI. You must use this script as often as
# necessary from your scheduler to update your statistics and from command
# line or a browser to read report results.
# See AWStats documentation (in docs/ directory) for all setup instructions.

Any experience or solution (installation guide or something)? And I wonder how to enable username and password to access the awstat report. I tried to install and configure AWStats on Fedora but failed too.

this issue should be given priority.
It is needed since 2014.
There are many topics and problems in the forum.
I hope the official update comes soon.
