Joomla uninstall remove from addons panel
« on: March 21, 2023, 07:47:53 PM »
I am unable to remove the Joomla install from the addons panel. I was able to manually delete the installation folder and assocaited joomla database.

Any reason why I could not uninstall/remove Joomla from the addons panel?

Now that the installation files and database is deleted, how do I remove the installation from the scripts panel

Try looking here:
/home/account/.conf

For an add-on WordPress install, I have this conf file:
/home/account/.conf/.addons_wp

So maybe you have
/home/account/.conf/.addons_joomla
and can just delete that conf file.

Thanks for the reply. I tried that and deleted the file but the "INSTALLED" section of the 'ADDONS' still shows the Joomla installation.

I see other users have had similar issues with the not being able to delete the installation of other scripts with the dialog box. The issue is that when clicking the yes button in the dialog box nothing happens.

Deleting the User Account and recreating the account was the remedy.

Hello. As Overseer mentioned you can just remove files and database manually and then just remove the Joomla or WordPress installation config file. That should work normally.
