Apache error_log permission value

Hi CWP Forum users

I had just deleted the apache error_log and recreated a new one but it had any error logs after that. I did some googling and found that it is user:group and permission issue. I had changed the error_log to nobody:nobody and tried to change the permission value to 700, 600 as i didn't looked what was the value of the error_log at the begining. Could anyone help me with this?
