Apache Failed to Restart after Recompilation

Dear All,

I just do the recompilation on Apache and after finish it, my apache wont restart with error:

This would fix it:

rm -f /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf
yum reinstall cwp-httpd

TQ so much, its work, this is make me so scare to do any update, can you tell me what the safe way to compile apache ? Maybe via command line ?

you have rebuild option in cwp, but why do you need rebuild?
