(Not sure if this is the correct sub board. Seen a few hostname issues here but further off then what I am dealing with.)
Greetings,
I am currently having issues with my hostname resolving to the correct ip. It's just showing up blank and the domain I created is having errors currently in the db fields.
Your Hostname is: host.shxx.us (removed most of the domain name) and it resolves to IP:
rDNS/PTR = ; <<>> DiG 9.8.2rc1-RedHat-9.8.2-0.37.rc1.el6_7.7 <<>> -x +short @8.8.8.8;; global options: +cmd;; Got answer:;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NXDOMAIN, id: 6484;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 0, AUTHORITY: 1, ADDITIONAL: 0;; QUESTION SECTION:;+short.in-addr.arpa. ::1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6
63.141.250.66 host.shaxx.us
127.0.0.1 autoreply.host.shaxx.us
Ip works fine resolving on it's own but not the domain.
Host records (by server):
Host shaxxx.us.nocix.net not found: 5(REFUSED)
Not sure if it's just the Domain Register hasn't caught up and the ip taking it's time resolving or it's a setting on the server I need to change?
