backup to compressed file
« on: February 09, 2017, 08:03:12 PM »
Hi all,

new to this CWP, came from CPanel. So far so good but the backups. Since there is no way to automatically purge, is there a way to backup to a compressed file in order to save space on the server itself? If so, how?

Thanks

this is incremental backup so compressing would be  disable that option...however soon we will have new backup options in cwp

it is always mentioned immediately but there is no progress, whereas backups with different options are important sources of each control panel  :(

CWP is a great project. I think if all of us contribute to it and use CWP pro then we help the community to develop the backups also.

The team rocks!

This is 2019, its been 2 years since your last post about new backup options.
Dude.... where the hell is the new backup options.?

It would be great if CWP have backup options like cpanel, compresed and can be sent into other backup storage over ftp.

I am using CWP Pro
