Restore of a full backup from the user portal not working

Hello

using 0.9.8.565 in 64 bit on a dedicated server on cantos 7

I had to reinstall the server from scratch and asked the user to restore his files (user are responsible for their own files)
so the user generates the full backup files as they should via the user's panel but now we are unable the restore it.
we got the message "Please choose CWP backup files in .tar.gz format" on the upload box. very strange because it is full-backup_date.tar.gz.

it was just downloaded 1 day before.

any ideas?
is it possible to restore the full backup via cli instead of the webpage?

Facing the same problem, any ideas how to fix?

Asked Enterprise support but no response in 2 weeks which im sure they are busy looking into it.

Anything new you can do?
I need to restore a Full backup generated in CWP too and I do not find out how.
