I try to goto ftp from webpanel and it takes me to 192.168.*.*** which is my ip for server behind router instead of my static ip address, how do i fix? I am using centos 6.6 64bit

port redirection in your router

If you're behind a router with your server, look into hairpin NAT. But unless you're just tinkering with a home lab server, I would suggest getting a dedicated static IP (internet routable) for your CWP server.

IMO, the proper one is should be use public IP where You should forward Your public IP port to the local IP where CWP installed.
Btw, centos 6 is way too old.

Agreed CentOS 6 is 'way too old', but so is CentOS in general.
You should be running either AlmaLinux 8 or 9.
If you are learning then AlmaLinux 9, so you can get use to all the newer commands.
