Hi, I did the update but apache does not start... I'll explain.

1. After "sh apache.sh" i got:
Code: [Select]
Stopping httpd:                                            [FAILED]
Starting httpd: AH00526: Syntax error on line 66 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Invalid command 'User', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
                                                                 [FAILED]
Apache has been upgraded

Solution to the above error...
I edited the file '/usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf' and added the line below:
Code: [Select]
LoadModule unixd_module modules/mod_unixd.so
2. I tried to start Apache again and I got...
Code: [Select]
AH00526: Syntax error on line 119 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Invalid command 'Order', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

Solution to the above error...
Code: [Select]
LoadModule access_compat_module modules/mod_access_compat.so
3. Third try to start Apache and I got...
Code: [Select]
Tue Jul 18 09:13:18.217682 2017] [core:warn] [pid 24901:tid 139660178646784] AH00117: Ignoring deprecated use of DefaultType in line 286 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf.
AH00526: Syntax error on line 10 of /usr/local/apache/conf/extra/httpd-userdir.conf:
Invalid command 'UserDir', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

Solution to the above error...
Code: [Select]
LoadModule mod_userdir modules/mod_userdir.so
4. Fourth attempt to start Apache...
Code: [Select]
httpd: Syntax error on line 57 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf: Can't locate API module structure `mod_userdir' in file /usr/local/apache/modules/mod_userdir.so: /usr/local/apache/modules/mod_userdir.so: undefined symbol: mod_userdir
I'm doing something wrong?

We have 2 servers with the old CWP version (0.9.8.154).

Before doing the update on the production server, I created a virtual machine and installed CWP 0.9.8.154 to test ...

This a clean install of CWP version 0.9.8.154. the only thing I did before updating, was to create some users ( CWP.admin > User Accounts > New Account ).

Is there anything else I can do to try to solve the problem?

you can contact our support to check this for you since we can't know exact issue without checking your server.

 :(
The journey continues...

Apache started after rebuilding it to version 2.4.25.
CWP6.admin > Apache Settings > Apache Re-Build > Apache 2.4.25 & suPHP 0.7.2

I found that httpd.conf in use after the rebuild was similar to the httpd.conf.rpmnew created on the manual update.

It looks like apache.sh is messing up the httpd.conf, in the manual update...

To make things worse... when a go to User Accounts > List Accounts a got the error below...

Edit: i tried to put an image with tool for images, but it didn't show... here is the link

you can delete your default httpd.conf and then reinstall httpd server (it will create new conf file)

Code: [Select]
yum reinstall cwp-httpd
yum reinstall cwp-suphp

also check this for issue with datatables

shashank
- you should disable webtatic repo in your yum configuration probably in the folder /etc/yum.repos.d/ and then check your yum again

kajlaajay
- that is an very old version of cwp, latest for centos 6 is 0.9.8.267 (currently by checking latest installer) so you should proceed with an update :)

I cannot get past the following when upgrading from 0.9.8.155

Code: [Select]
extracting: phpMyAdmin-4.6.6-all-languages/themes/pmahomme/screen.png
  inflating: phpMyAdmin-4.6.6-all-languages/themes/pmahomme/sprites.lib.php
  inflating: phpMyAdmin-4.6.6-all-languages/themes/sprites.css.php

  inflating: phpMyAdmin-4.6.6-all-languages/view_create.php
  inflating: phpMyAdmin-4.6.6-all-languages/view_operations.php
Seems like something went wrong
If you have problem with CWP try run cwpsrv.sh restore

Restore is also not working... Where should I start looking to resolve this problem?

So, this was just the CWP part of the upgrade.  I did not have to update mysql because I already have MariaDB, and I did not do the apache upgrade yet because the cwp porition failed.

What log should I look at to give you more information?

I simply cannot get back into the CWP interface.  The upgrade seems to have not completed.

the best would be to run upgrade scripts and if they fail to check them manually and see what exactly failed on your server.
Don't forget that you need to have apache only webserver when running upgrade.
