Cant use my hostname address to connect to smtp

This problem is rising reasonably quickly now when I set their emails with SSL using my hostname and they are getting errors. I always did this way for years and something I am a bit worried about. But if I set up SSL with mail.theirDomain.com then it works that is what I am currently doing now at this moment. this is the error that my clients are receiving.


Task 'info@theirDomain.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC1A) : 'Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method. Contact your mail server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for additional assistance.'

i dont know about your situation


but this is my step by step after i done install cwp from cli


login root, then i set the hostname ... example blabla.mydomain.tld
then i wait until the propagantion full and ssl are correct
at your case... is about email
then i got to email
then mail server manager
then set the hostname there (same with my cwp hostname ... subdomain not primary domain, never try use domain.tld )


after that everything is good. only need setup dkim spf etc




update: i never use mod or av at my cwp

update: try sent via webmail first....

what is weird is that if I create an SSL within the client side it works fine as I said in my main post. I don't really care so long I am getting an SSL I am good what I am afraid of is that this will start on everything that in involved with SSL emails

recheck mail server config on cwp
thenrebuild mail server with hostname


then re-check the SSL of your hostname (dont revoke too many times. if im not wrong.. LE limit issue SSL 3 time or 5 times only in 1 week)

sometimes this is happen to me. but... it fix automatically in few hours (crontab SSL run) still dont know why.
so ... yes i need more step to login to userpanel then issue it
or i just install zero-ssl for temporary from cwp to the client domain
