Problem installing Wildcard SSL valid certificate

Im facing problem installating a valid Wildcard SSL.

When I generate the CSR using *.domain.com (*. because it is wildcard), the file generated contains *. in the name, causing problems with linux filesystem.
I think the . must be replaced in file names.
