Title: User panel not allowing login for some users (POSSIBLE BUG) HELP!!
Post by: tyrnight on December 11, 2018, 06:45:09 PM
Some users can log in fine.. and I can't seem to find the cause.

as I try to log in I get "incorrect access" error in red.

This log states this error, but says that even for a user that does work.
/usr/local/cwp/php71/var/log/php-fpm.log

Next thought is that the User is over 8 characters long, and there was a change in CWP awhile back that made these users not work. Is there a way to change this behavior?

But the user CAN log in via SSH just fine.

This issue was resolved with the latest CWP update, it will be updated automatically or you can run the manual update by using this command in the shell as root:

sh /scripts/update_cwp

I ran it earlier today and it didn't update anything

[root@server scripts]# sh /scripts/update_cwp

I'm getting the same when users are trying to reset their passwords. Any fix for this?

I had this happening on a brand new account. After I reset the account's password AND logged in as the user I was able to get the password reset working.

update is not working either in cron or manually.  See my other post.  This is going to become a mega problem for all users.  I lost admin panel due to expired files.  Very soon everyone will be screaming for help or a solution.  CWP has become a nightmare.
