Good day,
Try installing CWP on a droplet with AlmaLinux 8 as an operations system.
With every attempt to install CWP, the installation gets stuck on the following:
sed: can't read /usr/local/cwpsrv/conf.d/api.conf: No such file or directory

I also tried the installation on a droplet with AlmaLinux 9 and with me CentOS9/stream but the result was exactly the same.

Is this known and is there a solution for this?

Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
MysterionX

I have that file on my running AlmaLinux 8 servers. Maybe Starburst or others could confirm it is present on AL9.
Are you using the FULL DVD installer for AlmaLinux? You can't use the Minimal installer to spin up a CWP server.

Hi overseer,

I'm experiencing the same error on my AlmaLinux 9 server running CWP9, installed just last week using my VPS provider's preinstalled AlmaLinux 9 image (not sure whether it's based on Minimal or DVD).

The installation had several issues that I had to resolve, but CWP is now running normally.

However, every time I run `/scripts/update_cwp`, I get three `sed` errors because `/usr/local/cwpsrv/conf.d/api.conf` is missing.

I found three `sed` commands referencing this file in `/scripts/fix_cwpsrv_logs`.

For comparison, I've checked my two AlmaLinux 8 / CWP8 servers, and `api.conf` exists on both. Interestingly, both files were last modified today (October 27) at 03:17 and 03:51, around the time of the nightly CWP updates.

On my AlmaLinux 9 / CWP9 server, I've confirmed that `/usr/local/cwpsrv/conf.d/api.conf` does not exist.

Is this file supposed to exist on CWP9, or could it be an issue with the updater?

Thanks!

I'll have to let Starburst answer; my servers are all AL8 (for now).
