Hi,

Has anyone been able to configure Monit correctly in a server with Almalinux 9?

Do you find the functionality beneficial? I installed it originally but then disabled it (so now I don't get the CWP nag warning).

For me is useful for monitoring server processes in a simple way.
No need to use Nagios or similar, if you only have one server

I hate that program, and I hate that CWP forces you to install it.

I usually install it, disable it from ever starting again.

Would recommend a 3rd party solution, but you mentioned you only have the 1 server.

Ok, thanks.
With AL9: No varnish, no monit, no cgroups, no CWP migration tool.
I'm getting up to date :D

I just dislike monit, and use 3rd party that are better.

There are cgroups in AL9, but they operate differently than they did in CentOS 7.
As soon as CWP abandons that obsolete OS, and updates for AL8 & AL9 then things will start working again.

Finally I have installed manually and configured monit without any problems.
Perfect, because for me was the best option. Thanks!

Is there any CWP developer currently working on updating anything?
I wish that anyone from CWP gives it a boost.

CWP devs put in an occasional appearance here in the forum (Josemnunez, Igor, Sandeep). Their release cadence seems to be about once a month with bug fixes and new PHP versions. Wish there were changelogs detailing the changes so we can know what's going on under the hood, but we'll take what we can get!

You can set your update cycle in CWP Settings > Edit Settings in order to get the latest updates faster, or stay on a delayed track that is at least 2 weeks behind the latest for further testing. I haven't been noticeably bitten by going with "Latest", so that's what my servers are set for.

Or is it... annual release cadence for new PHP versions?
