Good Setup For High Concurrent User

Hello,

Anyone willing to share the best practices for apache settings, timeout session/script timeout, caching or everything that good for high concurrent user ?

Im using 6 cores/12 thread for the dedicated server. Thinking to serve hundreds or thousands web visitor at a time.
