I genuinely prefer CWP other most other control panels and run both the free version and a couple of Pro instances.

The developer has been terrible at communicating

The comms. part is the major problem and requests for changelogs, in particular appears to be completely ignored.

all issues have been resolved a very long time.
But what we can say that they were terrible in the communication since the last request was from cwp side and they responded that they don't have time.

Let me quote from elsewhere..

The people behind CWP are frustrating.

They emailed us a while back requesting Skype. I said look, we're too busy to talk over Skype so just find us on Slack or email us. No reply. Sent them another email the other day requesting an update and then today, they finally get back to us saying their delay is because they have been waiting to talk to us.

They have been given MONTHS to get their stuff in order and apparently instead of emailing us questions they have just been sitting there waiting...
Note that I also don't use phone calls as a primary means of communication. Language, accents, background noise etc. all make the process less productive than for example, 'live chat' and/or emails.

I try to defend CWP, as I really think that it is better than many alternatives. PLEASE, please, please, try to respond on the forums more frequently and take people's criticism onboard. Some of us are trying to help to improve your product.

We can only rely on your word that the required changes have been made and that can a little difficult when new problems arise from updates etc. Publishing a changelog is one step in helping everyone.

and also, CWP need to please stop saying "issue was fixed in next release" when in fact the fix has not been thoroughly tested and actually isnt even working/resolved (this happens so often its like a standard response that just gets blurted out without even thinking)

CWP it's a really nice and promising project, but the management and development team behind has a serious public relation and communication problems.
No offence guys, I understand that you are serious professionals and your energies are focused on the development of this great piece of software, but you should pay more attention to your community here.
The need for a communication strategy and a transparent changelogs it's a fact, you should change the attitude and become more people-oriented.
There is a great need for a community manager and a volunteer team to work closely with the dev team and support the forum topics and community concerns.
For sure a lot of people will involve if you open a real door here.

All the best guys.

ps. become personal, we are people and we like to know who we talk with. even if it's a nick name :)))
