Why does it seem like there is a lot of issues with compressing js and html on CWP?

After a long test i managed to make Autodj and Shoutcast work but there is no way to have ssl enabled so the only way to listen to the stream is using a player or firefox that will allow mixed content. Chrome will not allow mixed content.

I managed to start icecast and Autodj but i can't figure out how that stream could connect to a player. After a restart i had the admin panel work at http://serverip:17001 but even if it shows that is enabled i can't get the stream to work.

1. Installing the icecast and checking the administrator panel seems like there is no streaming and no mountpoint list. No server status.
2.There is no way to set a proxy to shoutcast and icecast as none of te cinfiguration can't be changed from user panel. Trying to update configuration "An error ocured" message comes up. I guess that this has to do with file permission but some of those settings should be available to users.
3.From user side if we press configuration we see a small popup with no options and we just can press save.

I will upload some screenshots later and hope more people will find the time to test and explore those new features as it makes user panel more powerful and rich.

The icecast or shoutcast is installed with root priviliges and that gives no rights to user to change configurations.
User can't even change the stream password or add a proxy to use SSL.
Server admin can change password for user but can't edit proxy.

If i try to run "fix permissions" for user then the stream server (shoutcast or icecast) will not show anymore to user panel unless the shoutcast or icecast server is added again from plugins-->shoutcast manager.

Shoutcast V2 installs and starts without any issues on my two servers running CWP 0.9.8.1129.
Liquidsoud installs fine but can't get that to work.
Created the playlist. Checked the file permissions. Ports open in firewall. Using ports 9000 to 10000.
AutoDJ just won't start?
Any suggestions?

According the latest changelogs there was no work on those new scripts so i did not try them.
Autodj as you can see above is already tested and works. You just create a playlist and upload mp3 files through user panel.
When no client is connected to Shoutcast autodj will automatically take control so there is always a stream for your audience.

Did you manage desi to run shoutcast under https proxy?

cd /etc/liquidsoap
chmod 744 *.liq

Is it possible for this to happen if you are on almalinux, rocky and you are not on the latest version of cwp, please update to our latest version and I am sure this will be resolved for you

I can start shoutcast without any issues.
http://74.91.29.30:9988/index.html  (I got this server only to test CWP - Shoutcast)

Changing permission of *.liq files to 744 didn't work either.
Server is running latest Centos 8 Stream with the latest CWP.

I have no idea how to run shoutcast with proxy.

Will keep trying and hoping that help will come :-)

liquidsoap wasn't installed but now it is.
