Subdomain folder delete issue

One of our customer created a subdomain of his domain.

He deleted subdomain folder via ftp or file manager then apache wont restart.

It has an folder not found error. So all sites down.

What is the exact solution for this situation how can we restrict deletion of subdomain folders or kind of exception to apache still work.

Well actually deleting subfolder for subdomains will not make Apache to fail. When you restart it will actually give out error something like "file doesnt exist/path" but Apache will start.

But in our case, restart apache, start apache and reboot not solve apaches shut down.
