Database status issues after Centos upgrade
« on: August 17, 2018, 01:10:50 AM »
Yesterday CWP suggested 5 upgrades for me - including kernel.

Today I realized that mysql is working BUT:
- status shows that is not. I see int top that it does, I can login by phpMyAdmin, my forum is working still 'service mysqld status' gives me 'ERROR! MariaDB is not running'
- CWP gui also to not recognize database anymore:
a) 'MySQL Manager' - shows no databases nor users
b) 'Security & Optimization Check' in 'MySQL Manager' ends with '[!!] Attempted to use login credentials, but they were invalid.' (root password for mysql generated during CWP installation was NOT changed)
c) 'Show MySQL Processes' - shows no processes

Issue slowed. The cause was not recognized configuration parameter "max-heap-table-size=33554432".
Still there i somesthing wrong with CWP if it was not able to detect anything related with MySQL even when it was running well.
I wound out about it when I tryed to use mysqladmin. After removing not recognizer parmaeter CWP works OK for MySQL
