Firewall Randomly Turning Itself Off
« on: April 13, 2020, 08:27:35 PM »
My firewall on a new vps is turning itself off when I try to restart it doesn't work. I have to start a terminal session and issue the command service lfd restart and then it's fine for a while.

What could be causing this?

Thanks

Code: [Select]
tail /var/log/lfd.logBe quick, before someone deletes my response.  :o

its probably OOM (out of memory)
ensure you've sufficient amount of free ram available during the peak time

That's what I thought. I only have 1G of ram on this VPS. Would increasing the swap from 1G to 2G help?

Thanks
