How to open port 43 for whois?

I am using cwp web panel. In my website I am using whmcs. In whmcs whois server required to check and validation of domain. So that point of view I need to open the port 43. From csf firewall option tcp incomming and outgoint I have already added still showing the port is closed.

Due to that reason my website not properly functioning. Please help me with proper solution.

I have the same problem, but with other port, 2500.

OUT: 8123, 20, 21, 22, 25, 53, 80, 110, 113, 443, 2030, 2031, 2082, 2083, 2086, 2087, 2095, 2096, 587, 993, 995, 2080, 2443, 2500

But when I'm checking, it's still closed..


any ideas?

what/what is your 'remote address' as just a single digit, "1"?

have you restarted your CSF/Firewall?


You may also need to set your router to forward that port.. ?
