cant get an .no domain going to my sever with centos panel
« on: December 13, 2020, 05:01:01 PM »
Hi I have a sever all set up with centos panel all installed but for some reason, I cant get it to work with my custom DNS

i want ns1.mydomain.no ns2.mydomain.no

I have also set glue records at the domain reg company and have also set up hostname.mydomain.no that seems to be working fine inside the glue record

when I try and add the ns1 and ns2.mydomain.no I get the following message

For .no domains the nameservers must be configured correctly before the delegation can be completed. Not all ISPs are aware of this. Please contact the administrators of the nameservers you are trying to use, and ask them to create a valid zone file for norskstripp.no on all the nameservers.

but I am sure the dns record file is on the sever and set right any ideas how I can fix this ? have I missed something in the step

Hello,

it must be checked by a system admin. Make sure your DNS server works fine and the domain mydomain.no created on the server with NS's ns1/ns2.mydomain.no and all of them have the correct IP.
You can ask me to solve any problem with your server for some money in pm  ;)
