This error showing up on my server can't seem get DNS to run.

This is the error showing:

Can anyone explain to me where my problem is, please?

Try to restart named and then check output of:

journalctl -xe
to investigate the problem. Currently no one can tell you where the problem is because your post doesn't contain any information about the root of the problem.

Also, as you were advised, check:

systemctl status named.service

change that to "journalctl -xeu named"

Will sort the journal file down to just dns
