Creating Mail Account with Hostname Domain Problem
« on: November 28, 2018, 06:24:02 PM »
Hi,

Firstly, centos web panel is wonderful software and cheap thank you ! I setted hostname, however I cannot create new account with hostname domain. It is no problem because I have a solution as default root folder.

However, another big problem is email and FTP account. I can not create email account for hostname domain.

Ftp connection is not major problem because I use Root access on FTP.

Please, help me about creating email address with hostname domain.

hostname should be hostname.domain.suffix , so you can still add the domain.suffix as the new users domain

Hostname is odabas.xyz directly domain. I think that I added uncorrectly hostname.

And also, I think that true my hostname is like HOSTNAME.odabas.xyz  is true ?

After that proccess, I can create new account with my domain.

I have a one question: If I change hostname, is that problem for apache and existing domains ?

No not for apache or other domains but it will be a problem for mail you will need to change dns records for ptr and spf and also re generate the tls certificates for the new hostname

thank you very much @Gleen, I can solve this problem with your solution.

I set new hostname with SERVER.example.com

After changes, Mail settings rebuild on "Email Manager" and restart services.

Only a little problem, sometimes send mail on roundcube cannot send other mail because of see as spam.
