I haven't been able to find the mailing lists, if there are any.

It's common in cPanel to have mailinglists, GNU Mailmain is used.

How is this handled when migrating van cPanel?

Can anyone shine a light on this topic?

You can accomplish this in the CLI of course, but not so accessible to clients. So it would be possible to migrate over existing cPanel lists, but then they wouldn't be manageable in the web GUI.
