Pure-ftp Unable to switch capabilities

I just did a fresh install of CWP yesterday, using CentOS6 minimal. Everything went well, except that pure-ftpd will not start. It shows down in the web panel, and when I attempt to start it, it states:

Starting pure-ftpd: 421 Unable to switch capabilities : Operation not permitted [FAILED]

Any idea why this would be occurring?

for those searching for solution, this is probably kernel related issue, you should try to use distribution kernel.

Yes it is probably a kernel issuse, but you should know which of the kernel modules should be enabled for it to work. Also, it can be done by compiling pure-ftpd with --without-capabilities option. Or if you could make it possible to choose between pure-ftp/proftp/vsftp in a panel.
