New User / Log-in / FTP Account set-up
« on: March 12, 2015, 04:59:00 PM »
So far, I'm loving the CWP.

Installed CWP without error.

As ROOT;
Created a user, with a domain.

Went to FTP, message at top of FTP indicates to set up FTP account in USER"S Panel.

I cannot log into CWP as user via with <host IP>:2030 or <user IP>:2030

Is there a different port for the USER panel log-in?

Also attempted to use both FTP (port21) and sftp (port22) with created  username/password - without success.  And, I attempted ssh on both (hostname IP) and also (user ip), also without success.

I can ssh into the server with user that I created from command line and su to root, so the server is ssh-able...

And, my port 2031 (https) is not functional either.  Installation note demonstrated creation of the SSL Cert and demonstrated SSL Cert location as /etc/pki/tls/private:certs/

Help appreciated!

root and users are using the same login box, however you can login as a user by using root password also.
Also issue on your side sound little bit strange :)

I have found that after you setup CWP, do all the setup stuff, enable the firewall - no one can login via FTP it throws an error in your ftp client. Go back to the CWP and click FTP Users and it will fix your permissions issue.
