Title: Virus on my CWP sites
Post by: cwp_user2018 on March 31, 2021, 06:05:25 AM
Hello

I found virus on my sites run with CWP.

In my index.php code is something like:

Code: [Select]
//Enter your code here, enjoy!
"/ui\057smo\157thn\145ss/\0560e8\062571\144.ic\157";

Also there are created files with randowm names like ahdysgdtr.php with the same content.

Any of the antivirus like rkhunter,maldent, scan antivirus does not find this.

What to do ?

Do you know tools which can eliminate this virus ?

If it's wordpress sites, use wordfence to fix the issue.

The "viruses", are from improperly filtering code injection on your websites.  It's not something CWP did, but instead PHP and bad programming.

The best way to ask a PHP developer to check your website's code. I guess it has some security problems.
