Since RedHat announced that CentOS will be discontinued, will CWP development still continue? Will it use Ubuntu or something similar?

this is a very old question which was answered many times.
CWP only supports RHEL based operating systems like CentOS 8 Stream and all other options like rocky linux...

CWP even has its own version of CentOS 8 Stream

Not to mention CWP runs on Cloud Linux, which has version 8.x out.

Thanks for this reply and this topic.

In the next days I go to migrate one account of one of my client, from cPanel to CWP, this account cPanel is in Centos7. I have others servers (personals) with CWP in Centos 8 but no problem for me change to centos 7 or better, made this step:http://wiki.centos-webpanel.com/the-future-of-centos-stream-with-cwp

But my question; At today day, CWP recommended Centos 7? Better than other like almalinux, for example?

This account, that I go to transfer from cPanel to CWP in the next days, is very important, and I can't change very, my personals...no problem, I have the same site in 3 servers, using load balancer can made tests and change centos version, distro....

Again, thanks for this thread and thanks in advanced!
