Title: Connection timeout on port 2030 or 2031 after CWP installed
Post by: MarkE on May 06, 2016, 08:02:31 PM
I successfully installed CWP, and rebooted.   I can successfully access the default web page on port 80,  but when I try to access the CWP GUI on port 2030 (or 2031) I get a connection timeout.   Any suggestions on what to check?

I discovered that my cloud computing provider's default security policies block most ingress ports.  New with this provider so I figured out how to enable 2030 and 2031.

I am having the same problem on Linode.  I think they may block port 2030 by default.  Anyone know for sure?

make a port scan on your sever to see if the port 2030 and 2031 is open. if not open then their is a firewall blocking it. either your own servers firewall or the provider has one in place. then contact your provider to open the port for you or get a list from him which ports are accessible. and move cwp to one of that port. which is not so good or ideal but it work. better get the port open first.
