Title: Website File Locations
Post by: Administrator on October 21, 2014, 06:55:06 AM
Website on my Domain
All websites must be uploaded in the users public_html folder.

For example
- create new user
- upload new website using FTP to the users /home/USERNAME/public_html/ folder.

If you upload website as root then you can run "Fix Permissions" from the Users Menu in  the CWP, this will set  required permissions for all files in the users home folder.

Is it possible to change this to: /home/USERNAME/domains/DOMAIN_NAME/public_html?

I changed it in the vhosts now, but if I create new user this is not applied.

erm3nda,

I did change the vhosts, but when I make a new user the old standard vhost folder structure is added to the server. The vhosts are done correctly but the folder structure not.

Try change /etc/skel/ directory.

 1. I have created a reseller account, then i added a new domain but now issue is that i am not able to access  the which location of newly added domain & where   i have to upload the file.

the 1st domain having path like /home/username/public html/
for other domain how we can define the path so we will be able to access ftp for particular domain.

2.where a reseller want to delete the domain but cant because its gives error saying that contact admin.

3.If a reseller add multiple domain then in admin panel where o can see that number of  domain added by reseller.
4.once we create mysql DB & user ,How we can reset password & how can we assign same user for mutiple database.

Generally, you will find Apache error logs in /var/log/apache2/error_log location.
