Title: Starting Dovecot Imap: doveconf: Fatal: Error in configuration file /etc/dovecot
Post by: JNestudi on January 06, 2015, 12:39:39 PM
I have this error and dovecot can't start... it is a fresh install on CentOS 6.6 (64bits)

Should I install sieve (yum install dovecot-pigeonhole)???

Any idea how to solve this???

you should check this with the system admin or a hosting provider, or if you don' have an admin you can contact CWP support.

Sand think... I'm the system admin and the hosting provider provides a clean dedicated server where I installed a fresh clean CentOS 6.6. Any more help? I don't know what else to do! and I can't reinstall the OS 'cause It is too many files to move...

Ideas?

no, you should check logs and try to check this issue with linux system admin which can test the cause of this issue.

problems usually results from custom built OS, I recommend to use the bare bones CentOS 6 minimal.
