Title: Creating multiple emails for primary domain NOT subdomains (is this possible)
Post by: andrewb on January 02, 2020, 10:17:52 PM
Hi everyone,

I’ve recently moved from CPANEL to CWP7.Pro and just wondering is there any way in the Centos Web Panel (root) to create multiple e-mail accounts for the primary domain?

For example, my domain is www.physio.com and I want to create e-mail addresses for admin@physio.com, andrew@physio.com and john@physio.com.

I know you can create multiple email accounts through the user Centos Web Panel but that’s only for subdomains which is not what I want.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated as this seems like a big oversight if you can’t?

Cheers
Andrew

You can create accounts via root user with no problems.  Just go to Email => Add account

Hi

You can do this from the admin or from the user panel without problems for the primary domain.

Can you attach an image to have a reference of where the problem may be

Thanks! And I think I worked it out...

CWP7Pro.admin
Hostname: www.physio.com

CWP Control Panel (user)
Domain: physio.com

... which then allowed me to create email accounts for admin@physio.com, andrew@physio.com etc.

I'm sure there's probably a better way but man it's been frustrating! :)

cheers,
Andrew
