Hello
I have CWP7 pro installed to other servers too and can compress files.
To the last server i installed it when i try to compress my files from file manager i get the following error
I/O Error.

Could you please help me with that?
Thank you in advance

I checked and use the latest zip function.
I just tested the following command from the terminal and works normally
zip alldomain.zip *
I get the error in the CWP7 file explorer.

There seems to be a problem with the latest version 0.9.8.946.
I tested to 3 servers running the CWP pro and updated to the latest version and has the same issue.
Hope soon will be fixed as it is a very important option.
Thank you in advance.

new file manager is in development wait for it
I see.
Is it possible to use the old one as it used to work before some days?
In the meanwhile and when it is ready we will be able to see the new features.
It is very important to have the interface way to compress files back in function.
Thank you in advance.

you can use ssh terminal (putty)for compress/decompress
like for zip files
use
compress
cd /go/to/dir
zip -r filename.zip file-name/directory-name
decompress
cd /go/to/dir
unzip filename.zip

Please just let me know this.
The problem appears to all my servers.
I thought that is an issue with the CWP7 and wanted to help reporting it.
Is there an announcement about the issue.
Could you please confirm that it is a general issue or i should check something else?
-
it will be solved in future update

Just wanted to notice that compression works normally from the file manager in the user interface.
The problem occures to the file manager used in admin panel.
Tested and confirmed to version 0.9.8.948.

we're still working on it

I just saw this item, I had just opened a ticket (#149655) for this very problem.
I already realized that entering from the customer panel does not give error, so in the meantime we will work around it.
Greetings!
