Title: Google Postmaster unable to verify

Hey Folks,
I was not sure where this would fit so here it is.

I am slowly setting up the server to host some local rescues websites for nothing to help them out.

But, when I go to do the postmaster verification from google. https://postmaster.google.com

It just does not seem to see the cname record I have added to the sites. Has anyone had to deal with this before? is it a port or something else I might be missing to get this right?>

hi did you tried restarting bind dns server ?

you can verify the cname via any 3rd party dns checker if it loads correctly. If it doesn't work then you've added cname in wrong format

Better to use this site https://dnschecker.org/ (https://dnschecker.org/) for DNS Propagation, as it as more public servers available to check the live propagation results, compared to any other similar tool
