Title: New email account not working in 0.9.8.6

Hi,

I have a clean install off SWP.
But in version 0.9.8.6 on option Create a New Email Account (MailBox)
I wil not get a error or mail account.
I have rebuild the mail server but same issue.
And Postfix Mail Server is running.

Its working fine here. The only problem I have is with catchall alias.

Explanation to my problem:
I have email id : a@domian.com

I made a alias for *@domain.com to forward all mails to a@domain.com

Then I added b@domain.com

Now when I send mail to b@domain.com, it goes to a@domain.com

Did you check your mail log?

Setting up catchall at last works fine. But new emails are added regularly as new users join. Kindly look into this

I am having the same issue as the OP.

CWP version: 0.9.8.6
Postfix Mail Server: up and running.

There is no traces of errors on CWP GUI nor error_log @ /usr/local/cwpsrv/logs/

Same problem with me.

In new version CWP, Mail server not work properly. Can send email but can't receive email anything.

Hello!

I have exactly the same issue! I can't create any mails. No error output to debug.
The only rare error in error_log which is repeating constantly is:
sed: couldn't write 80 items to stdout: Broken pipe
sed: couldn't flush stdout: Broken pipe

Any clues? How we can solve this issue?

Or probably I would like to downgrade to 0.9.8.5, but where is it available?

This issue is only when you run MYSQL 5.6 on the server.
Fix is coming soon

i had this problem too, but today i'll try to downgrade mysql to 5.5 if 5.6 not support for an email database on cwp

I am on

MySQL version: 5.5.47
CWP version: 0.9.8.15

and have the same problem.

You can setup aliases for the ones you don't want going into the catchall mailbox , and deliver the mail to their own mailbox or send them off to another domain.
