For log in to CentOS Web Panel you should use username root and the root password.

Thanks for the replies I don't want my root user to have a password so how can I remove the root password - and have another user as the admin for the control panel - or is it possible to use 2 factor login to make it a bit more secure
thanks

Any reason why you don't want a root password? You are making your server a free for all server for spammers and botnet exploiters
