I've found the cause, but not the solution!

If you connect to your control panel as a user using https://cpanel.yourdomain.com/, you sometimes have to log in twice but consistently, the last access is ALWAYS 127.0.0.1, presumably as the connection is being proxified by Apache to port 2083.

If you connect to your control panel as a user using https://controlpanel-ip:2083/, it religiously logs in first time and the last access always shows the remote I.P.

Hope this helps the developers to track down the fault.

Occasionally, users have to login to cpanel.domainname.com twice, the first time, it says "Successfully logged in, You're being redirected. Please Wait.." and then after a couple of seconds, goes back to the login screen. The second attempt always successfully then logs in. I've tried different browsers (I.E., Edge, Google Chrome, Brave) which all give the same symptoms.

Another bizarre thing is that the Last Access panel always shows two logins but with local IP 127.0.0.1?

Can anybody shed any advice on this, is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Many thanks in anticipation of any help! :)

Thank you

Wow - the captchas for posting a message are a little OTT!?

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Empty Language Selection Dropdown on Login Page
« on: August 03, 2020, 10:24:57 PM »
Hi

Since the last couple of weeks (not quite sure when), an empty drop-down box has appeared on my users login page.
https://cpanel.mywebaccount.co.uk/

The pull down list contains all the languages (in the <options>) but no language names for selection so the user doesn't name what language has been selected.

Is there any way of removing this dropdown box or ensuring the name of the languages appear in the list?

Thanks all! :)

Mark
