Installation / Re: cwp - invaild hostname
« on: March 08, 2017, 04:55:33 AM »
I keep facing the issue rDNS/PTR = FAILED than when I refresh the page, it says Success... (IT CANT) make up its mind if its success or failed. Its getting annoying.

What do I set my rDNS to? or ? My Hostname, or my Domain Name?

I already have the zone for it

I added the DNS Record for it already; but when I try to edit it; It says it has NO Owner. therefore i can't edit it, but this is the "Records" inside of it. 86400 IN SOA ( NS NS A

Installation / cwp - invaild hostname

I'm getting Your Hostname is: and it resolves to IP: (ERROR: You don't have a valid hostname set!)

I have programmed the "DNS" Server and Cloudserver to use my other IPv4 and I had my VPS Host change it manually since it wouldn't change.
Everything in my "DNS Records" point to the new IP of

/etc/hosts ( &
Zone: Points to
/etc/resolv.conf -

Everything points to the correct IP; YET I'm getting INVAILD Hostname. I don't get it. the rDNS Checks out. I also added srv2 on Cloudflare to point to and mail to yet it's not registering! I even restarted the Bind DNS Server several times after I rechecked the DNS Zones.

E-Mail / Re: Put Mailserver on a different IP

I put the hostname as because that's whats assigned to and both check out; but not able to receive "ANY" incoming mail; associated with my domain's email; I can send, but not receive. And the SPF is still my old VPS IP, I went through the Postfix to "Rebuild" the Everything including the SPF and that didn't do anything. MY DNS for my domain is this.      86400      IN      NS      86400      IN      NS      0      IN      A      0      IN      A      0      IN      MX      5
mail      0      IN      CNAME
www      0      IN      CNAME
ftp      0      IN      CNAME
forums      14400      IN      A      ;

Mail is suppose to be pointed to because that's the main domain that I'm going to be sending from BUT how do I add the IP to link to ? which is a completely completely different IP?

E-Mail / Put Mailserver on a different IP

When I orignally installed CWP It placed my mail server on my main IP, ever since I switched to CloudFlare; its handling all my IP's my question is.
Is it possible to use my (Other IP) that's not associated with my WebServer or Cloudflare; handle all my Incoming/Outgoing Mail for my mail server; instead of my main Domain? - rDNS - rDNS

Using the hostname on my main domain; it points it to my cloudflare; is it possible to change the hostname, to align with my other IP for the mail server instead? Or would that conflict with the whole web server?

Postfix / Need help! Setting up Mail Server to Different IP
« on: March 05, 2017, 06:20:14 PM »
I have 2 IP's assigned to my VPS Server and I need help assigning my mail server to the other IP rather than my main VPS IP.
How would I fix this? and accomplish this, so it doesn't use my main VPS IP?
PS: I'm using Cloudflare again since I'm getting DDOS'ed attack by Mysql attacks.

Suggestions / Re: Google Authenticator

You can accomplish this by installing Google Authentication via SSH; but it would still be nice for CWP to take a-look at this for security measures, Also e-mail logging of "FAILED" Login Attempts on "ANY" CWP Accounts.

Suggestions / public_html assigning to multiple users of that domain
« on: March 05, 2017, 06:08:18 PM »
It would be nice to manually select a directory of a "user" in administration mode for a specific domain so when you create a domain, you can point that domain directory in a specific folder eg: instead of it being in home, it could be in /var/www/domain/public_html and assign users to /var/www/domain (of that specific FTP User) to that domain directory instead of /home/USER/public_html

(it messes up the home directory, for the domain and when you try to sign into another user under that domain) it won't even edit the main domain name; that's assigned to admin.
I like the fact that users can still upload; but it has no effect on the main domain; Why would you create a user for the domain and they can't even edit the main domain to begin with?

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: Error 503 Backend fetch failed

PS: I'm not sure if this is accurate. Just my opinion.

Even though the webserver is behind a Router; the Router has to accept the Incoming TCP Ports in able to Function Properly; even being Nat'd it has to listen to the incoming IP and TCP in order to function properly; as far as I know.. Firewalls block ports and IP's if they are not Whitelisted.
