The same thing happened to us yesterday.  Had to switch to straight Apache to get things temp running.

CXS is for WHM/cPanel, not CWP.

Backup / rsync backup to multiple locations
« on: October 27, 2017, 04:01:05 PM »
I have both backup options enabled in CWP and it works perfectly.  I have a specific need to backup via rsync to another location as well.  Is it possible to do this with the existing setup?  for example, put a comma after each ip address backup location?
Or could I duplicate /usr/local/cwp/.conf/remote_backup.conf?  where is the cron that fires all the backup scripts?

I can setup my own script and cron, I just thought it would be nice to use some of the existing code.

Installation / Re: Set one key for all the new accounts, but not a root key

I suppose, but the entire point is to make it easy for the developers to login with one key.  Also, even though it's a virtual ftp, its still ftp and as such insecure correct?

Installation / Re: Can't run CWP on Amazon EC2 - CentOS7 based

I can confirm that CWP runs great on EC2.

Do have the right ports open on Ec2 in your security group?  If you never get a response back or it just stalls and loads forever you are hitting your firewall

Installation / Set one key for all the new accounts, but not a root key
« on: September 08, 2017, 03:58:40 PM »
HI all.

Great service.  We are moving away from cpanel possibly for CWP and really like the features.

One thing we really need to accomplish is a way to give our developers a way to log in via sftp to individual accounts but not use the root account.  Is there a way to create a single key we can hand out, they can put it in their sftp clients and they can login and see all the accounts but not go up one directory to the server directories?

thanks in advance
