Installation / Re: CWP on LAN network only
« on: September 01, 2019, 05:21:57 AM »You cant use AutoSSL in a LAN as far as i know letsencrypt works with public DNS and public IPs.
Also, with AD users logging into CWP, am not sure.Please send a mail to the development team for insight
Cool thanks evansa!

Installation / Re: Keep getting sent back to login
« on: July 25, 2019, 05:18:48 PM »this can happen only if you have multiple tabs/windows open in the same browser with the differen session id, so simply close all which have cwp open and open new.
note you can have multiple open tabs/windows but all must have the same session id in the URL.
I made a comment in another post about this but what I found is using Firefox fixed my issue, even if there is still others with google lol.

Installation / CWP on LAN network only
« on: July 25, 2019, 05:11:23 PM »
Hey ya'll
I am setting up CWP on a LAN network only to be our internal web server for a website and a few web-ui control panels. We have two Active Directory servers that does DNS and DHCP (I know DHCP don't matter much here).
I'm wanting to know what would I really need to change or use as settings inside CWP as far as hostname/DNS/rDNS/PTR/nameservers and can I use autoSSL? If yes to autoSSL what would I need to use as setting for that as well?
What I have set so far:
CWP: (server)
hostname: web0.domain.local
Shared IP: 192.168.1.254 ([ERROR: This needs to be a public IP])
NAT Local IP: (nothing)
NAT-ed Network: (no)
DNS: 192.168.1.251
DNS: 192.168.1.252
nameserver: ad.domain.local=192.168.1.251
nameserver: ad2.domain.local=192.168.1.252
AD: (server)
hostname: ad.domain.local
IP: 192.168.1.251
|
--DNS:
a record: web0.domain.local-->192.168.1.254
|
--reverse DNS:
Pointer: 254.1.168.192-->local.domain.web0
AD2: (server)
hostname: ad.domain.local
IP: 192.168.1.251
|
--DNS:
a record: web0.domain.local-->192.168.1.254
|
--reverse DNS:
Pointer: 254.1.168.192-->local.domain.web0
----
Other: (I know this is out there) but is there a way to add CWP to AD so some of the other admins can use the domain accounts to login to the main panel or ( would I need too / would it work ) if I join OS (CentOS) to the AD server and from there give the right permissions to be able to login?
Thanks.

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: CWP keep loading
« on: July 25, 2019, 04:31:36 PM »
Hey all,
Has anyone found a fix to this issue?
I have a fresh install and this is happening to me. I know in the pass with other web ui based systems it was due to a goof in DNS but I can not seem to pin point it in CWP

CentOS-WebPanel GUI / Login screen "Click here for SSL login" points to NAT Local IP
« on: October 08, 2017, 07:50:43 PM »
Hey there! (Don't know if this is the right place to slap this?)
I am having a bit of an issue here as the Subject says at the Login screen "Click here for SSL login" points to NAT Local IP https://10.0.6.2:2031 and not my domain/port https://first64.com:2031 like it should, I have done some googling and digging around here and didn't find much at all. Could you guys give me a helping hand and point me the right way to get this fixed?
The server/site first64.com is live and you can see it for yourself of what I am talking about, However if you go to https://first64.com the ssl is working and loading the page BUT if you trying and hit https://10.0.6.2 you get nothing. Yes this is when I was on the same network as the server.
Lost, anyone out there with this oddball issue?
Thanks for any and all reply's
Have a good one
