Information / Re: CWP Secure CentOS Kernel
« on: October 22, 2020, 01:47:40 PM »
cwp kernel is the best-integrated security option out there, it's similar to some of the options from SELinux/AppArmor/CloudLinux so running a shared hosting with many accounts without it is risking that one hacked account can compromise others.

If you know anything about the security of shared hosting then you wouldn't write this kind of nonsense after reading info about what kind of protection it has. The kernel is well tested on the big servers and running many shared hosting servers some having more than 1000 accounts.

In the instructions, it's visible that it's available only to servers with an active support service.

So how do you turn off the alerts for this crap?

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: IONCUBE LOADER PHP 7.3
« on: June 08, 2020, 02:27:40 AM »
Did you try running sh /scripts/update_ioncube ?
Actually not. I wasn't aware of this, and I see that fixed it.
Anyway, I manage to fix it myself just a minute before your answer (thank you) by simply downloading ioncube from its site and copying the 7.3 files to its folder on the server.

Thank you again.
No problem. After reading your post I checked both of my servers and one didnt have them as well. When I ran that it fixed the issue. So thanks for bringing it to my attention. ;D

Suggestions / Re: goaccess - Fast web log analyzer
« on: November 14, 2019, 10:29:45 PM »
So I was looking at my files and noticed that in every sites account there is this goaccess.
/home/username/cwp_stats/goaccess/daily
/home/username/cwp_stats/goaccess/weekly
/home/username/cwp_stats/goaccess/monthly

Looks like it was installed on both of my VPS' on 11/12. I checked my CWP Admin panels and did not see any mention of it as far as accessing through there. I know if I access it via SFTP and click on the .html file it will show the stats for that particular website.

Anyone else notice this? Will it be accessible via our admin panel?

John

CentOS 7 Problems / Re: AutoSSL Hangs and Fails
« on: September 27, 2019, 01:54:16 AM »
I faced the same issue, in user panel when clicking SSL it just hanged and i wasn't even able to log back in.

Then tried it on root admin and made SSL and same issue again.

Waited 30 minutes and finally was able to log into root and I see SSL was created.

Not sure whats going on but it worked for me after some waiting.

Just had the same exact issue. Went to grab a bite and when I came back all was fine.
And I am on CWPpro version: 0.9.8.894

PHP / Re: How to compile PHP with support for webp in gd?
« on: July 15, 2019, 01:13:13 AM »
Hey ring,

I know this isnt the answer but I am using the ShortPixel Adaptive Image plugin on all my wordpress sites and they are being served as webp. AppSumo had a great deal for them recently and I purchased a couple of codes for it but when I checked today, the deal had expired. I believe they have a free version but not sure if you would be able to auto use their CDN.
Funny, that's exactly why I'm asking for webp support. I bought this great deal from AppSumo as well, and although I've marked in its settings to use webp, I'm still getting JPGs. I thought it had to do with my setup.
But coming to think about it, as they're being served from their CDN, why would I still get JPGs? Weird...

But anyway, I host other sites for my clients, and I would like to support WebP for them.

Sorry for getting back to you so late. When I right click one of the images and open in a new tab it will look something like this:
Code: [Select]
https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/spai/w_535+q_lossy+ret_img+to_webp/https://3rdcoastdomains.net/wp-content/uploads/1X_Hosting_Illustration_01.png
At first I was thinking it was still in .png format but when you right click the image and save image as it will show as:
Code: [Select]
1X_Hosting_Illustration_01.webp
Is that what you were seeing?

cwp is using mysqldump so you can try first manually to see if it is working

http://wiki.centos-webpanel.com/import-export-mysql-database

I tried it manually and got that error "mysqldump: unknown variable 'local-infile=0'", After removing this line "local-infile=0" from my.cnf, it done successfully.

Thanks for help.

Do you have [mysqld] along with local-infile=0? It should look like the following in your etc/my.cnf file:

[mysqld]
local-infile=0
