Validations for new domains are disabled in the V1 API
Try running
Code: [Select]
/root/ --upgrade to upgrade to start using V2 API

SSL / Re: Why is autoSSL so flakey?
« on: April 01, 2020, 06:57:33 AM »
Apparently autoSSL requires that both DOMAIN and www.DOMAIN be A records. If www.DOMAIN is a CNAME pointing to DOMAIN then autoSSL will fail with a variety of unhelpful error messages.

Can someone from the development team confirm this?

I can install certificates just fine with www-subdomain, they just get excluded from the certificate in the renew process.

I changed the settings on one server to look like this yesterday:

However, today I saw that the server had still installed new certificates to domains from which I had them previously deleted. I also noticed that root crontab looks like this:
Code: [Select]
37 0 * * * "/root/"/ --cron --home "/root/" > /dev/null
37 01 * * * /usr/local/cwp/php71/bin/php /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/include/cron_autossl_renew_all_domains.php
00 00 * * * /usr/local/cwp/php71/bin/php /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/include/cron_autossl_all_domains.php
00 00 * * * /usr/local/cwp/php71/bin/php /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/include/alertandautorenewssl.php

On another server where I thankfully didn't touch those new SSL Configure options it looks like this:
Code: [Select]
05 01 * * * /usr/local/cwp/php71/bin/php /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/include/alertandautorenewssl.php
05 01 * * * /usr/local/cwp/php71/bin/php /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/include/cron_autossl_renew_all_domains.php
47 0 * * * "/root/"/ --cron --home "/root/" > /dev/null

Am I safe to assume that SSL Configure options are not working as intended?

I have deleted unnecessary certificates from the list, but they keep coming back even though I don't have Automatic SSL generation active. Documentation over this matter is empty

A few domains renewed their certificates ignoring the set autorenew window, and all of them ignored www-subdomain yet again. I feel kind of lost here.

Looks like SAN was too simple for me to miss. I thought it might have been something CWP specific :P Should I assume that if I have the setting "Not renew SAN" enabled, my www-subdomains wouldn't be included in the next sertificate renewal?

The bigger mystery is why all my domains got certified in the first place when automatic SSL generation wasn't on. I found all of them being installed via starting at 00:00 sharp (logged inside

Can someone explain to me how these settings are supposed to work under Auto Renovations and Automatic SSL generation?

I noticed the new options there yesterday, and I left them as shown in the image, checking the possible options available. Today I noticed that CWP had installed certificates to all domains on my server, even though I had not checked "Enable"-button in Automatic SSL generation.

And what does SAN stand for?

SSL / Re: Auto renovation skips www subdomain

The problem still insists. However, I noticed a new turn of events regarding this problem. Now, if I renew the certificate manually, my .conf -files related to the domain I issue the renew on get deleted, and I have to rebuild webserver conf to get them back.

SSL / Auto renovation skips www subdomain
« on: January 30, 2020, 04:32:06 PM »

A problem has started occuring during the last two weeks (as far as I know) that my certificates don't renew correctly. www-subdomain keeps missing,  and most of the sites are using the www-subdomain as their primary site address.

The logs show the following:
domain.tld AutoSSL trying domain.tld (nowww)

This has happened a few times before, but now all of the domains keep doing the same thing. All www-subdomains are using CNAMEs in DNS. If I renew them manually, www-subdomain gets certified normally.

Any help appreciated.

:2083 user login says: 403 Forbidden

EDIT: Tested on CWPpro version: also, same problem

Updates / Re: missing Softaculous, replaced by Fantastico F3 ??? :( wtf
« on: August 22, 2019, 12:13:35 PM »
I am also having this problem with Fantastico. All new user accounts show Fantastico F3 instead of Softaculous in Scripts Installers in user control panel. Old user accounts still show Softaculous, and also admin panel shows Softaculous.

This occurs on two different server, one with CWP Pro and one with regular CWP. Version:

I backed up my Softaculous settings according to this guide and then I uninstalled it via CWP.

After installing it back it started working again.

Softaculous / Unauthorised web access
« on: June 25, 2019, 01:59:48 PM »
When I try to access Softaculous via admin panel, I get the following error: "Unauthorised web access". This is happening on a two different servers, both running CWPpro version

I also get the same error when trying to access Softaculous via user panel.

Any ideas what might be causing this? I remember receiving an update notice from Softaculous last friday to version 5.2.3.
