PHP / Re: How to compile PHP with support for webp in gd?
« on: June 10, 2019, 07:07:36 PM »
here is solution
1 install libwebp
2 edit php config build file /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/conf/php-fpm_selector/7.1.ini  or use any php version
3 add in bottom
Code: [Select]
[webp]
default=1
option="--with-webp-dir=/usr/lib64/"
4 rebuild php

Thank you, but unfortunately, it's not working (already compiled twice).

PHP / Re: How to compile PHP with support for webp in gd?
« on: June 06, 2019, 02:31:07 AM »
Guys,

I'm hosting Wordpress sites, and recently there are plugins like "Webp express" that can convert standard images (like jpg, png) to webp format for better loading times.

When installing webp express plugin, I'm shown none of the possibilites to convert the images are available, as can be seen here:
https://pasteboard.co/Ii5Nbkt.jpg

I've tried the same plugin on another server I have, running on ispconfig (which I consider as much more primitive comparing to CWP), and there it supports gd out of the box.

So yeah... I'm looking for a way to add --with-webp to the php compiler (it's possible to add such options in php selector, but I don't think it influences php-fpm which I'm using).

Here's a reference to PHP's manual:
https://www.php.net/manual/en/function.imagewebp.php

Hi, you can block the port if you do not use DHCP
I have no idea if I do. :)

Thanks. Actually I saw that already, but unfortunately, couldn't determined what's the conclusion - should it be blocked or not?

CSF Firewall / UDP out port 67
« on: June 03, 2019, 05:38:57 AM »
Checking /var/log/messages, I've found the following notification about blocking UDP port 67 out.
I actually went to CSF's configuration and allowed this port and the message was gone.

After 5 minutes I thought I might have risking my system without properly checking (though sounds like my server is the one which is blocked from sending data out), so I've removed the port from CSF, but would appreciate if anyone has any idea what this might be.

PHP / Re: error while compiling php-fpm v5.3.3
« on: June 01, 2019, 11:22:45 PM »
Ok, I've used the "reset options" link on the right side of v5.3, and it removed v5.3 so I could use that screen again.
I'm currently compiling v5.3.29 this time and I'll hope it'll finish this time.

PHP / error while compiling php-fpm v5.3.3
« on: June 01, 2019, 10:58:03 PM »
I was trying to compile php v5.3.3 (the oldest currently available on CWP) under php-fpm menu, in order to host an old site of mine.
Using the trail command after it took too long, I found this error:

Code: [Select]

[root@cwp ~]# tail -f /var/log/php-selector-rebuild.log
shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory
Skipping as php build failed
exe:/opt/alt/php-fpm53/usr/sbin/php-fpm
Redirecting to /bin/systemctl restart httpd.service

Build Completed
###################

Error:Can't add notification!

Any idea what's the issue?

Also, ever since, whenever I get into php-fpm menu again, I get this in the bottom:
Code: [Select]
Task already running in the background, please wait a few minutes and then check again!!!How can I remove that?

Nginx / Re: Nginx failed and can't be restarted

A. I assume you meant "Server Settings" and not "CWP Settings".
B. What that connection to SSL, and why is hostname related to SSL creating or my issue?

CentOS 7 Problems / Re: pro for PHP Upgrade?
« on: May 29, 2019, 09:28:25 AM »
hi

I would like to upgrade the PHP version to 7.2, although I did rebuild many times. still 5.6.x

Need CWPpro?
You'll have to rebuild your WebServers Main Conf (under WebServer Settings menu) with the preferred PHP version.

Nginx / Nginx failed and can't be restarted
« on: May 29, 2019, 03:55:49 AM »
This morning I woke up to see my server's nginx failed and couldn't restart (CWP tried to restart it every 15 minutes).

This is my error.log for nginx:
Code: [Select]

So I went into /etc/nginx/conf.d/cwp.hostname.com_ssl.conf and found the following on line 17:
Code: [Select]
ssl_session_cache   shared:SSL:20m;
So according to the error, i changed it to (from 20m to 10m):

Code: [Select]
ssl_session_cache   shared:SSL:10m;

Any idea why did this happened suddenly? And what does this line actually mean (I understand it's some kind of cache size for SSL). Can it be that some update of CWP made this overnight?
Oh, and where is this "already declared size" stored?

Backup / Re: This is your weak link

On second thought - do you refer to a single site restore or to the full server?

Backup / Re: This is your weak link

I can only tell you that I had to restore a client's backup for the first time about 2 weeks ago, and like you I was quite skeptic it'll work on the first go, but hey - I was so proud and glad it worked with one click, and the client was so happy I could restore his site so quickly...
So I don't know exactly where your problem is (did you enable backup for the site you were trying to restore?), but my experience was totally different.

Varnish / Re: Varnish won't work
« on: May 22, 2019, 11:27:08 AM »
I don't use varnish...I took a warning from another user about it literally. I might be using different language, but my interpretation of what user said was something like..."varnish is crap, don't use it" ...so I don't use it.
I would need an explanation for that, because Varnish is related to help websites being fast.
