Well that's a new problem that opens a whole new can of worms.

Information / Re: What happened to CWP
« on: January 24, 2024, 01:00:02 AM »
Ditto. Had problems accessing the forum, and some pages on the main website.
But the CWP panels on the servers where working OK.

Everything seems back to normal, so I'm guessing they where doing maintenance like we all do (or should be doing).

SSL / Re: Unable to issue SSL on one domain

What is the domain name & IP it should be pointing to?
So we can do lookups for you

There is no SSL for your hostname.
Try to get that part fixed, Rebuild the mail server, Restart All the mail services (button on bottom), or you can manually restart Postfix, Dovecot, ClamAV, AMaViS, OpenDKIM, SpamAssassin, and try to send mail again after.

cd /scripts
sh generate_hostname_ssl
sh cwpsrv_rebuild_user_conf

Other than that.

https://multirbl.valli.org/lookup/38.99.139.101.html - Is listed on 1 RBL, not bad.

Listed at: https://matrix.spfbl.net/38.99.139.101

https://multirbl.valli.org/lookup/host.daowen.ca.html - Hostname is clean

Agreed, setting up a home lab for learning if great, but not for production use.

Forgot about the battery backups & generator.

But then there is the cooling required and noise also.

Other / Re: Paid server management ????

Totally amazing that specific check boxes outlining services provided with zero ambiguity can still be argued by people that base their livelihood on an industry where even one comma or space makes a difference. ALL the monthly paid support packages clearly state what they offer and nothing I have requested was even close to the edge of this, therefore no interpretation would be necessary.
So how about STOP arguing with FACTS as your opinion seems to als conflict with the clear terms and tasks outlined on their website.

I just quoted the FACTS from the page.

What 'management' are you requesting then?

What specific task you requested, so we all can see if it was or not on that list.

Hence it's hard to interpret anything, since you just post a generic statement that they are not managing your server.

what is the domain name & the base IPv4 of the server?
So we can lookup to see if there are problems.

You can't.
CWP isn't a router that can redirect different websites to different internal servers.

Each server needs to have a Public IP address for it's own webserver on port 80 & 443.

Now with NAT, you could redirect certain ports/services to certain internal IP's.
But again, you can NOT redirect the same port to multiple internal IP's.

If you want multiple servers, you have 2 options:
1. use servers on the cloud with Public IP's
2. ask your ISP if & how much a Static Public IP allocation would cost.

The local route would require you purchasing a router, firewall, switch, etc.
And the knowledge how to setup & configure it all.

Servers normally have a public IP.

You can use NAT, but the restriction is you have to point port 80 & 443 to the single private IP with the webserver running.

So you can't have 1 public IP, and 2 web servers with private IP's.
As you can't redirect those ports to 2 different private IP's at the same time.

I'm gonna try Google translate below to Turkish.

--

Sunucuların normalde genel bir IP'si vardır.

NAT kullanabilirsiniz, ancak kısıtlama, 80 ve 443 numaralı bağlantı noktasını web sunucusu çalışırken tek özel IP'ye yönlendirmeniz gerektiğidir.

Yani 1 genel IP'niz ve özel IP'li 2 web sunucunuz olamaz.
Çünkü bu bağlantı noktalarını aynı anda 2 farklı özel IP'ye yönlendiremezsiniz.

« on: January 20, 2024, 07:03:31 PM »
But this is an English-speaking forum, so if you wanted to establish a Turkish-specific forum, you would have to start from scratch. If you do, maybe you could start with a Simple Machines Forum install that is up-to-date. :-\
:o

Or ask CWP to add a sub-group here.

Didn't click on anything, some phishing looking screen was the fille size.
Now it's not there.

You might want to check the SSL for that site.
Even if the site has no SSL, it should NOT display this.

Here's what I see when I try to access https://tokyo-game.com:2083:

FTP / Re: FTP connection without adding IP to Whitelist

Go under User Accounts -> Fix Permissions

That is defiantly a permission issue.

What comes up when you goto https://www.tokyo-game.com, looks like it forwards to a phishing site...

No SSL's are installed on the IP: 84.247.165.242
But the Default CWP did load.
