Any recommendations? I'm concerned about the lack of potential exit from Stream. Rocky and Alma seem to be an option but may have CWP issues. Interested in any thoughts...

Just an update - I've installed OpenSSL 3.3.1 on the server, and in the terminal it shows the version as OpenSSL 3.3.1 4 Jun 2024 (Library: OpenSSL 3.3.1 4 Jun 2024).

Yet, in CWP is is still showing as 1.0.2. I think there may be a setting in Apache SSL that needs fixing but am not sure. Can anyone point me in the right directions? Thanks in advance.

CentOS 7 Problems / OpenSSL version no longer supported

The version of OpenSSL we have stopped receiving support in 2020, yet yum tells us we have the most current version available. It is kicking numerous security errors on a Pen Test. Running CentOs 7. How can we update to a more current version of OpenSSL without breaking everything?

Information / Getting error when access account by IP
« on: January 12, 2024, 10:00:08 PM »
I just set up a new CWP server. I am traying to access the domain via IP - http://myipaddress/~useraccount

I've done this on other CWP machines without an issue. But this one is generating the folloiwng error:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access this resource.Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe

Any idea what might be wrong?

How to / Re: Direct domain name to proper directory
« on: September 15, 2023, 09:43:53 PM »
To migrate I used the server backup file to create an instance on a new server. It did create public_html in the proper directory, and the domain shows as pointing to that directory. But trying to access the site I am still ending up with the default page in usr/local/apache/htdocs.

How to / Direct domain name to proper directory
« on: September 15, 2023, 12:25:56 PM »
Sorry, it has been a while since I had to configure a new server. we just created a staging server using the backup of an existing account. CWP is routing the domain to the default usr/local/apache/htdocs directory. I cannot recall how to configure the server to point to the appropriate directory. I can't even seem to find the right conf file. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
