It is much easier to keep running version 7.  :)

> /usr/local/apache/htdocs/ is only for ip access.

Yes, that is EXACTLY where we want and need it.  It is for the default IP access.  So I am still forced to use an earlier version of CWP to this day.

Well, thanks for your non answer.  Know that I am up and running now on version 7 and everything works. :)  Hope that version 8 will be fixed soon.

See:  http://forum.centos-webpanel.com/installation/after-new-install-today-default-web-folder-is-changed/

Because  /var/www/html no longer works to support our game control panel and your suggestion of /usr/local/apache/htdocs   also fails.

Installation / I want to install an earlier version of CWP not 0.8
« on: June 05, 2014, 08:41:08 PM »
What is the file name I can use to get the last version before cwp-0.8 so I can get my servers online and running?  I tried http://dl1.centos-webpanel.com/files/cwp-0.7.sh but that file is not there.

Current:Installer all versions
cd /usr/local/src
 wget http://dl1.centos-webpanel.com/files/cwp-0.8.sh
 sh cwp-0.8.sh

Thank you, but my game control panel does not run out of that folder also.

All we get is:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, info@studio4host.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Why was this change made?  We had been using the previous folder for years.  Right now we are dead in the water and unable to set up new game servers.

I am used to working with CWP and seeing /var/www/html as the default server web page.  Today, the folder is empty, but apache is running it from some place else.  I am poking around to find where it went.  Any ideas?  This is the first time that I have used the new combo 32/64 bit install.

cd /usr/local/src
 wget http://dl1.centos-webpanel.com/files/cwp-0.8.sh
 sh cwp-0.8.sh

FTP / Re: Can not SFTP in as Root
« on: May 23, 2014, 08:45:11 PM »
Everything I check looks like it is properly configured...

I can still log in all my other servers with the same client. (FileZilla)

SSH through Putty works with no problems at all.

I have no problem handing over all login information to CWP Staff if they want to look.

CentOS 6 Problems / Re: Warnings
« on: May 23, 2014, 08:25:05 PM »
i have the same errors but the thing it's only when i am logged in panel, i see this via server not on putty, when i log in centos webpanel warnings starts, i guess they have something with the data refreshing on web, everything works but still i'm kinda annoyed to let it be that way
it's a new install of latest centos
can anybody tell a fix for it?
the first warning what comes when i log in it's
[pool webpanel] child 12219 said into stderr: "rndc:neither /etc/rndc.conf nor /etc/rndc.key was found"
after comes lots of php notice undefined index login in /etc/webpanel/panel/login.php(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code on line 1
after top5 process loads the  WARNING: [pool webpanel] child 12222 said into stderr: "couldn't write 80 items to stdout: Broken pipe" starts
when i log out everything stops
Any help or possible fix please?
Thank you very much,
Emanuel

Again, if you restart your server it will go away and you will not see it while in SSH.  But if you are in SSH and enter the command "service cwp restart" it will come right back.

FTP / Can not SFTP in as Root
« on: May 23, 2014, 08:17:06 PM »
We have been installing CWP for the last few months, and always we can SFTP in as ROOT until we ran an install today.  Has something changed?  The proftpd.conf file is correct and looks the same as all the rest.

We get:
Error:  Connection timed out
Error:  Could not connect to server

If we switch to standard FTP, we get a Connection established before it errors out on the AUTH.

Has something changed?

We have the same error on 4 servers with 4 full fresh installs on CentOS 6.5.  In addition the CWP is crashing several times a day on each one... only a full restart or "service cwp restart" will resolve the issue.... still we have that same WARNING: [pool webpanel] child ##### said into stdrr "sed: couldn't write 80 items to stdout: Broken pipe".
