Installation / cwp - invaild hostname
« on: March 07, 2017, 04:12:00 AM »
I'm getting Your Hostname is: srv2.xryu.org and it resolves to IP: (ERROR: You don't have a valid hostname set!)

I have programmed the "DNS" Server and Cloudserver to use my other IPv4 37.49.224.243 and I had my VPS Host change it manually since it wouldn't change.
Everything in my "DNS Records" point to the new IP 37.49.224.243 of srv2.xryu.org

/etc/hosts (127.0.0.1) srv2.xryu.org & 37.49.224.243 srv2@xryu.org
/etc/hostname srv2.xryu.org
Zone: srv2.xryu.org.db Points to 37.49.224.243
/etc/resolv.conf - srv2.xryu.org 37.49.224.243

Everything points to the correct IP; YET I'm getting INVAILD Hostname. I don't get it. the rDNS Checks out. I also added srv2 on Cloudflare to point to 37.49.224.243 and mail to 37.49.224.243 yet it's not registering! I even restarted the Bind DNS Server several times after I rechecked the DNS Zones.

E-Mail / Put Mailserver on a different IP
« on: March 05, 2017, 10:07:33 PM »
When I orignally installed CWP It placed my mail server on my main IP, ever since I switched to CloudFlare; its handling all my IP's my question is.
Is it possible to use my (Other IP) that's not associated with my WebServer or Cloudflare; handle all my Incoming/Outgoing Mail for my mail server; instead of my main Domain?

xryu.org 37.49.224.237 - rDNS xryu.org
37.49.224.243 - rDNS mail.xryu.org

Using the hostname srv1.xryu.org on my main domain; it points it to my cloudflare; is it possible to change the hostname, to align with my other IP for the mail server instead? Or would that conflict with the whole web server?

Postfix / Need help! Setting up Mail Server to Different IP
« on: March 05, 2017, 06:20:14 PM »
I have 2 IP's assigned to my VPS Server and I need help assigning my mail server to the other IP rather than my main VPS IP.
How would I fix this? and accomplish this, so it doesn't use my main VPS IP?
PS: I'm using Cloudflare again since I'm getting DDOS'ed attack by Mysql attacks.

Suggestions / public_html assigning to multiple users of that domain
« on: March 05, 2017, 06:08:18 PM »
It would be nice to manually select a directory of a "user" in administration mode for a specific domain so when you create a domain, you can point that domain directory in a specific folder eg: instead of it being in home, it could be in /var/www/domain/public_html and assign users to /var/www/domain (of that specific FTP User) to that domain directory instead of /home/USER/public_html

(it messes up the home directory, for the domain and when you try to sign into another user under that domain) it won't even edit the main domain name; that's assigned to admin.
I like the fact that users can still upload; but it has no effect on the main domain; Why would you create a user for the domain and they can't even edit the main domain to begin with?
