Avatar attachment errors with forums.

Sorry, I know this is not a bug in the CWP application itself but the forums show this error when attempting to upload and store an avatar.

The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.

What forum software are you using?

This seems to be more an forum related issue and you haven't set the required folder permissions for the forum software.
