root or user - ownership and permissions

ownership of the files and folders I think it affects the installation example of prestashop???

Hello.

The CWP are using SuPHP and owner for web site files and directories must be a user.

I believe you are correct in that. I have been hours trying to get Prestashop to install, of even show up remotely. As of now all I get is a blank white screen. I have reconfigured everything I can think of, re-done permissions both from the panel and terminal. Completely deleted the domain and made it again. Selected the html directory and had it re-do the ownership, as it did and still nothing. I am at my whits end here. May be time to get on the search again to find a panel that works. So disappointed CWP is a great tool.

@ADMIN i don't know what to say but i have a problem with css files.
every change i make in style.css is not working .php files are working to edit but what is the problem with .css files i always make chown -R user:user /home/user/public_html and nothing hapens please any help to solve this, cause i don't wanna quit cwp after days and days testing to make all features work.

Sometime i have problem with files/folder inside public_html too, but ussualy easy to fixed by "fix permision".
If still problem with web, try to rebuild vhost, and see if there is some error. fix it if any, and run "fix permision again"

I never hear about any troubles with CSS. Just check your error log files.
